T A A G A . F A M I L Y

I love this family.... I photographed Tommy + Fusi's wedding in San Francisco back in November of 2009, so it was nice seeing them again! This time we did their family photos in Carmel at the Mission.
A big thank you to the Taaga family for driving from SF to Carmel!

Back to weddings with a wedding post tomorrow!

T.O.L. || Rap Group Photography in the Bay Area, California

T.O.L. is a rap group from California.  They flew me out there for their photoshoot and I took my family along for a mini-vacay after.  I will probably post some pictures of my babies' first time at the beach later (they loved it!).

The guys of T.O.L. took me to various significant locations that they hang out at and grew up around.
-------Little Side Story-------
California is too funny! People would stop in their cars and ask random questions while we were shooting, "What are you guys doing?" , "What's that?" (to my lighting equipment) or "Are you Samoan? Cause my daughter is pregnant to a Samoan but he's from Hawaii (*in a sarcastic tone*)" ......Like you can't be Samoan and be from Hawaii....ha ha!   Oh, one girl spit at the ground as she walked by because I smiled at her! LOL!    Then there was a little old lady on a scooter just driving down the sidewalk, not paying attention to us.  One of the guys said hello and she suddenly stopped her scooter and said, "Do you have a dollar?"  Too funny!  See if you can spot the old lady in the T.O.L music video below!  I'll give you a high five if you do!

Well on to the pictures.  I had an idea in my head of a poker table scene, however I wasn't sure if I could pull off what I had envisioned....  but I think it's pretty close to what I had pictured.

Another idea I had.... guys do this stuff right?? Play poker and dice? Woo...lucky 7, that's good right? I have no idea! ha!
